Elizabeth Zeitler, MD, FAAD
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Cornell University. Dr. Beer received her MD degree and election to the AOA medical honor society from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC and a Dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Beer offers many procedures, including skin cancer surgery, Botox injections, fillers ( RHA, Radiesse, Restylane, and Evolysse), chemical peels, sclerotherapy, and laser treatments for the removal of brown spots and blood vessels, rosacea, scar repair, and rejuvenation to reduce wrinkling and sun damage. Additionally, since her training included both Internal medicine and Dermatology in multiethnic institutions, she is well-versed in assessing diverse skin tones and able to treat her patients with a deeper understanding of their medical situation.
The unique feature of Dr. Beer's practice is that she treats the whole family, from newborn to grandparent, from medical to cosmetic. On any given afternoon, she may treat acne in a teenager, laser his mom’s brown spots, prescribe something for his dad’s psoriasis, freeze warts on his sister’s feet, operate on his grandfather’s skin cancer, and inject Botox into his aunt’s forehead. It’s unusual to be a “family doc” of sorts in Manhattan, and she hopes to be doing it for many years to come!
Elizabeth F. Zeitler, M.D., FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in both aesthetic and medical dermatology. Dr. Zeitler graduated with honors from Dartmouth College, pursuing a major in Art History, which fostered her nuanced understanding of aesthetics and acute attention to detail.
She earned her medical degree from New York University (NYU), after previously completing an MBA at NYU as well. Dr. Zeitler completed her medical training in Internal Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital and her residency in Dermatology at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Hospital. Throughout her career, she has been an attending physician at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Highly regarded for her refined skill with aesthetic injectables and her expertise in medical dermatology, Dr. Zeitler uses a wide range of clinically advanced tools to develop personalized treatment plans for every patient.
